So how can we stop people from treating another person unfairly?

According to Citizens Advice Bureau (NZ), everyone is protected by Human Rights Act 1993, so nobody is allowed to discriminate against them, regardless of their age, gender identity, ethnicity, sexual orientation, disability or beliefs (click here).

It is wrong to treat someone “differently, unfavourably,” and many people need to be educated, mainly because discrimination can affect us, not only in regards to working, but our mental health, as well.
